D1 Guiyang-Langde Miao village-Kaili

Arrival at Guiyang airport, transfer to Kaili.

On the way to Kaili, visit Shiqiao Miao village, where the local people still make paper with trees‘ bark, which can be dated back to 1,300 years ago in China.It takes 3.5hours‘drive from Guiyang airport to Shiqiao.

Overnight in Kaili

D2 Kaili-Zhenyuan

Visit Kaili morning vegetable market and drive to Upper Langde village. And enjoy a Miao dancing and singing performance at 10:30am, the performance lasts 40 minutes. Lunch in Upper Langde. After lunch we drive to Zhenyuan(3 hour’s drive).
Overnight in Zhenyuan

D3 Zhenyuan
Visit Black Dragon Cave Temples, which includes Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. Zhenyuan is ancient town, its history can be dated back to 2,000 years ago. Visit the old streets in Zhenyuan in the afternoon.

D4 Zhenyuan-Zhaoxing
After breakfast at hotel, we have a long drive from Zhenyuan to Zhaoxing (4 hours). Zhaoxing is the largest Dong village, there are more than 800 Dong households and a population of more than 4,000 habitants.

There are 5 drum towers in Zhaoxing, each drum towers stand for a Dong clan. Dong people live near the rivers or streams, they are good at dying clothes with indigo water and making shiny cloth.

Overnight in Dong village. Dong people are good singing as well, they often say” rice is to fill stomach, while songs are to fill their hearts”. We have a chance to enjoy Dong Chorus in the evening in Zhaoxing.

D5 Zhaoxing-Guiyang
Take a long drive of 3 hours by highway back to Guiyang airport. After we arrive at Guiyang airport, the trip ends.
