13 Days Tour: Liuzhi-Kaili-Yangshuo
Description
D1 Arrive at Guiyang airport, and our guide and driver meet you there, transfer to Liuzhi(3 hours’ drive).
Stay overnight in Liuzhi
D2 Liuzhi-Anshun, drive to visit Long horn Miao in Longga village, and Er’Tang style Miao(Four-Seal Miao) in Qingganglin, after we visit these two different Miaos, we will drive to Anshun and stay overnight in Anshun
D3 Anshun-Kaili, visit Stone village of Yunfeng Tunpu where the local people look like minority group, but they are not, they are Old Han Chinese, who came into Guizhou 600 years ago as military group. They still keep their own unique culture very well, living in stone houses, dress as people did 600 years ago.
After we visit Yunfeng Tunbu, we drive to Kaili, it takes us 4 hours.
Stay overnight in Kaili
D4 Kaili-Matang-Qingman-Shiqiao-Kaili, We will visit Matang in the morning, where we can see Gejia group who are not listed into 55 minority groups in China just because of their small population. But their embroidery and batik are nice and well known. After Matang, we will drive to visit Qingman Miao village and Shiqiao, where the people still keep an old tradition of making paper with trees’ bark by hand, which can be dated back to 700 years ago in Guizhou.
Qingman is famous for making embroidery jackets with silk cocoons, since the local Miao women still raise silk worms for cocoons on the embroidery jackets.
D5 Kaili-Shidong-Taijiang-Kaili
After 2 hours’ drive from Kaili, we will visit the market on the way, in which we can see people selling textiles, embroidery pieces, silver ornaments, animals, pieces of bull skin, indigo and so on.
Shidong is famous for silver ornaments making and Sisiters’ Meal festival in China. Shidong market happens every 6 days.
After we visit the market, we will drive to Xijiang(3 hours’ drive), the biggest Miao village in China with more than 1200 Miao families. Stay overnight in Kaili

D6 Kaili-Rongjiang, Visit Langde Miao village and the old pottery making mills near Leishan, visit more villages on the way to Rongjiang. After we arrive in Rongjiang, we will drive to visit Dali Dong village.
D7 Rongjiang-Zengchong-Gaozeng-Congjiang, We take a short drive on the rugged road up a hill and reach a Miao village called Gaodong, where the local people are still poor and keep their tradition very well, still wear indigo dyed shiny clothes. Very few visitors know this village. We call them Pingjia style Miao. After we visit it, we drive back to the main road and move on our trip to Zengchong, a remote Dong village, surrounded by a ribbon-like stream. Drive back to the national road and move on to Gaozeng Dong village. Stay overnight in Congjiang
D8 Congjiang-Zhaoxing,
We will visit Basha, a Miao village where all men have guns, who have top knots on heads as well, around which is shaved clean by their sickles. The local people often compare their hair with grass or trees on mountains or roadside. Finish visiting Basha, with 2 hours’ drive we arrive in Zhaoxing, a pretty Dong village which is very good to relax ourselves with a cup of tea or a cup of coffee. Have free time in the afternoon.

D9 Zhaoxing
Our driver sends us to Tang’an, a Dong village almost on the shoulder of a high mountain, 7 km away from Zhaoxing. We could have a short hike from Tang’an to Zhaoxing, walk down the hill, passing some more villages, relaxing and enjoying the view of landscape. Stay overnight in Zhaoxing
D10 Zhaoxing-Ping‘an, Pick up you from Sanjiang train station. Then will transfer 1 hour to Chengyang bridge. Hiking around the village... then will drive 2hours to Longji Ping‘an village. Stay in Pingan hotel
D11 In the morning will hiking around the rice terraces, local villages. See the Zhuang people and Yao people with long hair.. in the afternoon will transfer 3hours to yangshuo. . you don’t need stay in guilin city.. We suggest you stay in Yangshuo, it is much better .Stay in yangshuo. Stay in the countryside hotel is highly recommended
D12 In the morning will transfer 1hour to the best mountain(Xianggong mountain), hiking 10minutes to the top, there you will have a bird view to enjoy hundred mountains and the beautiful Li river. After the mountain visit, we will drive to a 600years old bridge.. then taking the real bamboo boat on Yulong river . 2 people share one boat. The boat takes 1.5hours. After the boat we will transfer back to the hotel. You can take a rest at your hotel until 4:30pm, then we drive to the old Xingping town. Taking a small boat on the best part of Li river, it takes around 1hours on the river.. then at 6:45pm, we will let you take pictures of the sunset with the fishingman and cormorant . Day 13 Yangshuo-Guilin airport
We send you back to Guilin airport, our service ends.
