Eight Days Trip to Explore Remote Villages in Guizhou

Day 1: From Kunming or other cities to Kaili

High speed train from other cities to Kaili Nan, pick you up and transfer to Shiqiao Miao village.

Visit Qingjiang village and Boji village around Shiqiao.

Overnight in Shiqiao.

Day2: Shiqiao- Nanhua Miao village-Wudong

Drive to Nanhua Miao in the morning, hike from Nanhua to Wuliu village(2hours). After the hike, we drive to Wudong village. Wudong is located in Mountain Leigong, Leishan county

Walk around Wudong Miao village. It is 1300m above sea level. There are terraced paddy fields on the way to Wudong.

Overnight in Wudong Miao village

Day 3: Wudong-Queniao-Dali (3.5 hours)

Spend 1 h hiking from Baiyan village to Taoyao. And drive to Dali Dong village.

Overnight in Dali village

Day 4 Dali-Rongjiang-Yangkai(3hours)

Visit Dali Dong village, visit other villages on the ways to Yangkai called Yangkai where the French Record RENDEZ-VOUS EN TERRE INCONNUE was filmed.

Overnight in Yangkai village

Day5: Yangkai-Village-Jiayi-Jiabang(5 jours)

Drive to Jiabang Miao village. On the way, explore other villages and visit the local terraced fields in Mount Moon. Black Miao live in Mounts de la Lune.

Visit 20 kilometers of terraced paddy fields and different villages in the center of Mount Moon on the way to Jiaju.

Overnight in Jiaju village

Da6: Jiaju-Zhanli-Huanggang-Zhaoxing(3.5h)

Visit the terraced paddy fields of Jiaju in the morning and drive to Zhaoxing. On the way to Zhaoxing, visit Zhanli Dong village, Huanggang Dong village and Zhaoxing.

Overnight in Zhaoxing

Day7: Zhaoxing

We take a local car to Tang’an Dong village on the hill top, and then take a hike from Tang’an to Zhaoxing, it takes 2 hours. Relax in the afternoon.

Overnight in Zhaoxing

Day8: Zhaoxing-Congjiang Train Station-Guiyang Longdongbao airport

You transfer a high speed train from Congjiang to Guiyang airport. It takes you only 30 minutes from Zhaoxing to Congjiang train station.
