6 Days Tour Huangguoshu/Xijiang
Description
DAY 01 Other cities/ GUIYANG – ANSHUN
Arrived in Guiyang by train or air – own arrangement
Arrive at Guiyang and meet your guide.
Transfer for about 1-hour to Anshun and visit a traditional Old Han Village in Yunfeng. The houses here still maintain the traditional Ming style architecture and many ladies are still dressed in the traditional Ming Costume. Catch a Ground Opera in Yunfengyu and check into Perenc Hotel, best available in Anshun. Overnight: Perenc Hotel (Standard)
DAY 02 ANSHUN – KAILI
Bring walking sticks, raincoats and sturdy shoes.
After breakfast, drive for about 40 minutes to Huangguoshu Waterfall (about 800 steps per way). Continue to see the other scenic points: Doupotang Waterfall (flat trail) and Tianxingqiao Bridge. Then drive 4 hrs. to Kaili.

DAY 03 XIJIANG – Wudong – LANGDE – KAILI
Today, drive about 1 hr. to have a visit to Xijiang Village and be entertained by some local singing and dancing. Xijiang Village is the largest Miao Village in China with distinctive architectural style, there are more than one thousand families living there. After lunch in Leishan town, we continue on to Wudong Miao Village, located on Maountain Leigongshan. Before the day ends, we will go go to Langde which has some of the highest concentration of Miao villages. Visit one of the villages.

DAY 04 KAILI
Today, drive about 1.5 hours to Shidong where you can see various Miao dressing styles. Arrive at Kaitang Village and if you are lucky, catch the big local market which has been around for over hundreds of years. Locals from the nearby villages flock here for daily necessities to stunning silver jewelry, Miao embroidery, paper cuttings and cloth dyes.
Lunch at a farm house and visit the silver workshop.

DAY 05 KAILI – GUIYANG
After breakfast, drive to Qingmen Miao Village for about 1 hour. Here is the village of Miao “Zhouxi-style” costumes. Look at the production of Miao textile and embroidery here, then drive to Shiqiao Miao Village for about 20 minutes. After lunch, drive back to Kaili and visit the private embroidery museum.
Transfer to Guiyang (2.45 hrs.) in the late afternoon.

DAY 06 GUIYANG NORTH/ HONG KONG
Transfer to train station for train back home.
